The Tate Modern is an art gallery based in Bankside in the building that used to be Bankside Power Station. Designed by Giles Gilbert Scott and completed in 1963, the poer station ceased operation eighteen yeas later. The Tate Modern is a remarkable building and one of London´s landmarks.
